THE OCCUPATION OF WALL STREET
On SEPTEMBER 17th, Wall Street was occupied by a few hundred people. Then, before you knew it, a few thousands-THEN, A GLOBAL OUTBREAK of OCCUPATIONS of FINANCIAL segments of our economy-from RETAIL, to CITY HALL in their respective Cities and States and/or Countries.
BUT IT REALLY "BLEW UP" on the 24th of OCTOBER (astrologically)
What's going on?
It's very simple. The Rooster has come home to roost! All these people are angry, frustrated, feel betrayed, and mostly, feel ROBBED OF THEIR PERSONAL LIBERTY. When you mess with people's money, you are indeed messing with their personal liberty (freedom).
Not that this hasn't been happening, of course it has. The difference is that NOW IT HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND!!!
The abuse of POWER, the abuse of the POOR and the MIDDLE CLASS, has created an atmosphere of TENSION throughout the MASSES. And rightly so.
WALL STREET has gone UNREGULATED for so long that CORRUPTION has become INSTITUTIONALIZED.
Wall Street has lost touch with reality. And has become a CANCEROUS TUMOR not only in our SOCIETY and CULTURE, but has become the new found PHILOSOPHY of GREED and INDIFFERENCE which now holds HUMANITY in CONTEMPT!
All in the name of big profits...
Still, this "movement" caught everybody by surprise. No planning, no organizing, no preluded conversations precipitating to it, nothing. And it didn't just happened in New York-BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD!
A domino effect-for sure. But what was the underlying "current" which engendered it? What "set it off'?
The so called "experts" are still trying to figure this out
Well, if you were to ask an astrologer, he or she might offer another 'ANGLE OF VIEW" which might or might not sway the reader.
I guess this depends on the reader, and how committed he or she is in searching for the TRUTH.
But then again, TRUTH IS RELATIVE. So in the end, we are left only with our own "thoughts and opinion" about the world around us.
Still though, it's interesting to "postulate" and play the "guessing game"
This is my take on things:
Throughout this whole website no other GROUPINGS of STARS was more prominent than on this date: October 18-28, but particularly on the 23rd.
SEVENTEEN STARS were ACTIVE on this date. The signs of the zodiac involved were TAURUS, LIBRA, and SCORPIO.
Taurus falls on the TWELFTH HOUSE of secrets
Libra falls on the FIFTH HOUSE of risks, gambling, and speculation
And Scorpio falls on the SIXTH HOUSE of health, service and the workforce.
Now, before we begin naming the STARS, let's examine closely these houses:
The FIFTH HOUSE in natal charts of individuals (because, remember, mundane astrology differs significantly in interpretation than natal astrology), deals primarily with recreation, as in leisure time, speculation, gambling, risk taking, lovemaking or pleasures of the "bedroom", parks, such as SIX FLAGS, SESAMIE PLACE, DORNEY PARK, and the likes, it also rules games, as in board games, the physicality of recreational games (involving people), the entertaining industry, the theatre (stage acting), the "personality" rather than "character", romance and romantic fantasies (leading to sex), the courtship game, the "chase". It rules adolescents, teenagers (and everything pertaining to their "world"), and finally, SEX APPEAL (drawing from the sign LEO, which the house belongs to)
THE SIXTH HOUSE rules WORK and SERVICE, the workers, the working class, domesticity, blue collar work (and their workers), unions, assembly, manual labor versus "office" type labor (but it also rules office labor as well), food, food processing, pesticides, fertilizers, inoculation of germs, quaranteen situations, illness and sickness, the "minutae," the mundane, humility, servitude, the employee versus the employer (that's the TENTH HOUSE), piping systems, sewage system, the health care system, systems in general, along with CAPRICORN, it also rules the infrastructure, community organizers, district leaders, the municipality, elected officials such as councilmans and aldermans, and borough presidents, lobbyist groups, epidimiology and morphology. Yes, Virgo is a very important sign and so is its HOUSE.
THE TWELFTH HOUSE is, as mentioned before, a very complex house. It is considered to be THE HOUSE OF SORROWS (as defined by classical astrology). It is poorly understood-even today by the most competent and most ( due to age) experienced astrologers.
I once met an astrologer from India when I was in Argentina, and he was 98 years old! He didn't understand FULLY the "inner workings" of the twelfth house. He stated that in his country astrologers had the same "stumbling block" as western astrologers. But we did agree that this house is closely associated with "the stuff you put in your MIND". And that "stuff" (your belief system), whatever it may be, will DICTATE YOUR DESTINY.
it's deep! (basically, "you are what you THINK")
But there's a "trick" to this-AND THAT'S WHAT'S COMPLEX TO UNDERSTAND!
The TWELFTH HOUSE rules the following;
dreams, lucid dreaming (the ability), powerful visualizations (which become real), psychic dreams (which actually manifest in the waking life), psychic ability, E.S.P., Telepathy, remote viewing (the ability), astral projection (by accident and ability), "out of body" experience (or O.B.E.), Meditation, Spiritism, Witchcraft (of a coven and/or solitary type), Demonology, Antithetical beliefs, The Spirit world, Spirits in general (including those who are "earthbound"), The dead, Ascended "Masters", Magic and Magicians (of the actual, academic types), Alchemists (today, they would be chemists and those who are employed in such fields), Sorcerers (and yes, they do exists, trust!), Santeria and Santeros, Vudum (or Voodoo) and Spellcasting, Past lives and past life recall, death by murder, illness, or suicide, death through animals, fatal contagions, seclusion, isolation and desolate "places", death in a foreign country (you should watch the film "turistas" you'll never want to travel again!), betrayal (the type which can get you killed), kidnappings and abductions (either by extraterrestrials or fellow humans), Mental illness and aberrations, the criminally insane (and institutions which house them, like insane asylums), jails, prisons and maximum security prisons are also twelfth house conditions, house arrest is included here as well (with the ankle bracelet), Insanity, Hauntings, "infested" objects (remember Poltergeist and the clown doll that attacked the boy?), Premonitions, The "Shadow Self,"The Collective "Shadow", Family secrets (including family "shadow" or tabu), The Personal Subconscious and the Collective Subconscious,this house rules DUALITY and MIRRORING, Murderers, Psychotics, and serial killers, The Secret "Self"
But there's a paradox here, the twelfth house is also considered to be "THE HOUSE OF POWER". It is the "POWER HOUSE" of the horoscope.
But "tapping" into this personal power of the "HIGHER SELF" is elusive, enigmatic, mysterious-and thus, difficult. It is not completely understood by astrologers.
For example; Madonna (the actress, rock superstar, and performer) has a very strong TWELFTH HOUSE. But she doesn't fit this profile of the TWELFTH HOUSE-AT ALL!!!
We are "yet" to experience the real Madonna (then again, she may be who she really is BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, and this, is very in keeping with the TWELFTH HOUSE)
John Lennon had a strong TWELFTH HOUSE, and he was murdered.
Martin Luther King Jr. had a strong TWELFTH HOUSE, and he was murdered.
When Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, his SUN PROGRESSED TO THE TWELFTH HOUSE. The house of prisons, jails and the like. When he was released, as the world watched, his PROGRESSED SUN LEFT THE TWELFTH HOUSE and entered ARIES (a new beginning)
This is the natural house of PISCES, our current Age (which is soon coming to an APOCALYPTIC close).
Now, I gave a lot of information here and the trick in interpretation will be in how you "look at the information" given to you here. If you think of a jigsaw puzzle, in which you have alot of pieces to sort through in order to piece together the "whole picture," you'll be able to understand HOW FIXED STARS ARE USED IN THE DAILY, MUNDANE EVENTS OF PEOPLE THROUGH THE CYCLE AND MOVEMENT OF TIME.
Now we can discuss the FIXED STARS that rose and set on this day...
Turbulence through "blind ambition". This "blind ambition" is not taking into account the balance which it is "disrupting". This blind ambition is coming from a sector of society which has the capacity to cause such turbulence.
An example of this turbulence is expressed by the Republican Party refusing to pass on legislative bills from President Barack Obama, in order to prevent his re-election. The Republican Party would rather keep teachers, nurses, construction workers and the police force from being hired (to stimulate the economy and reduce the current rate of unemployment), just to keep one man from office.
This type of blatant abuse of power due to "blind ambition" is the essence of the FIXED STAR OF ALCYONE. The STAR sets as PLUTO rises on the 23rd of October, 2011.
How does this connect to the Occupation of Wall Street?
The people AFFECTED by this turbulence; this "blind ambition" by the ONE PERCENT GROUP is the 99 PERCENT of the POPULATION which is protesting and taking to the streets.
The STAR is completely VISIBLE and has PASSAGE. This minimizes the "intensity" and "damage control" of the STAR.
When a star is exposed to our "view" it is less malefic (according to the ANCIENTS)
This explains why the march and protests that took place in the "turbulent sixties" during the civil rights movement was hostile and violent. The people were more violent, police resistance was downright brutal and deadly, compared to today.
Of course the STAR of ALCYONE was in its CURTAIL PASSAGE, and in its phase of ARISING AND LYING HIDDEN, because it was not October or September that these marches began-AND the state of Alabama is in a totally different TERRESTRIAL LATITUDE than New York City (where the Occupation of Wall Street is taking place)
The FIXED STAR of MIRACH is associated with speed, love of movement,and sudden movement. This organizing of the 99% occurred suddenly-practically "overnight" (and in the rest of the world, too). This definitely is an expression of this STAR (which explains why this occupation happened so fast). It also sets as PLUTO rose on that day (in Capricorn).
The FIXED STAR of SCHEAT is a highly creative STAR. Associated with mental creativity and visualization, but on a purely intellectual plane. It also rules the "breaking away" of conventional norms or dogmas. The STAR sets as PLUTO rose, and has CURTAILED PASSAGE, distorting and greatly exaggerating the effects of the STAR.
The 99% organized, created a newspaper, soup kitchens, set up cleaning committees, developed social activities, raised thousands of dollars (and counting), nonprofit organizations were being "created" every eight minutes (according to the media). These protestors WERE NOT PLAYING!
These are all expressions of the STAR of SCHEAT. But this STAR also rules tension and sudden "uprisings" from within the group(s). And I believe this is happening already (the police will be "blamed" for instigating and provoking protestors).
The FIXED STAR of AL RESCHA is associated with "the bringing together of two concepts in which another is born" (a new concept). This is a highly political STAR and Arabian Astrologers were very fond of using it in their day.
The STAR was widely used by American Masons ( including our founding fathers), along with the STAR of SPICA (which the Washington Monument is directly aligned to, in Washington D.C.)
THE STAR IS VISIBLE BUT FAINT IN MAGNITUDE
The idea of inequality versus the over inflation of individual (and/or) secular wealth goes against the principle which these two STARS represents.
The 99% movement is a "symbolic" representation of this inequality.
The STAR of SPICA was CULMINATING as PLUTO also rose, thus giving the STAR more power to exert it's influence. It also has passage and is clearly visible, but this does not minimize its effects because it is culminating with Pluto.
The FIXED STAR of MURZIMS is called "The Announcer". It rises before the Dog Star of SIRIUS and is usually found in the charts of civil and district leaders. It is present in the chart of talk show hosts (sorry, cannot mention their names here).
People that had "something to say" like Martin Luther King Jr. (through his speeches) and John Lennon (through his music) have echoed the "stirrings of revolution"
The 99% group has "something to say" (no one knows yet how to phrase it, but they will)
This STAR sets as PLUTO rises, and has PASSAGE, making its effects less intense.
The final STAR in this first grouping is ALPHERATZ which is concerned with FREEDOM-both philosophically and literally.
The 99% group wants economic freedom, equality and the right to "personal liberty" these principles are indicative of this STAR. It set's as PLUTO rises.
THE ANDROMEDA GALAXY
BELOW IS THE STAR OF ALPHERATZ AS IT ACTUALLY APPEARS...
Now, congress REJECTED the tax cut procession and now 160 MILLION MIDDLE CLASS AND WORKING AMERICANS will be taxed and 40 DOLLARS PER PAY PERIOD OR 1000 DOLLARS A YEAR (and no matter how you slice it, it is STILL a lot of money).
Again, this is totally to debunk the Administration of President Barack Obama so the PUBLIC CAN TURN AGAINST HIM.
The Tea Party is RELENTLESS IN MAKING SURE THAT BARACK OBAMA IS TO BE A ONE TERM PRESIDENT.
And Speaker of the House, Boehner is their "puppet"
Why? Because he's Black? For sure, but it has nothing to do with COLOR per se, AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MONEY AND PROTECTING THOSE THAT HAVE IT (in the billions).
Barack Obama is for the AVERAGE PRIVATE CITIZEN.
The ruling MAJORITY, well, is not. And the Status Quo wants to keep things as they are.
And this President 'AIN'T FEELIN' THAT'!
And therefore, it is safe to say, that President Barack Obama is a symbolic representation of this STAR. And it will serve him well if he were to identify more with this MOVEMENT.
But in a strange way, he is...
The next groupings of stars fall in the sign of Libra: the sign of balance (what the 99% is aspiring to obtain) and harmony.
It is the sign of COOPERATION and NEGOTIATION, political DIPLOMACY and, to some extent, "political posturing" (or INDECISION).
The first STAR is RAS ALGETHI. This STAR brings specific issues and problems affecting women. Also, problems can arise due to maltreatment of women and problems arising through women. the opposite is also true; popularity through women is another manifestation.
Ras Algethi is a BINARY STAR (although some cosmologist are apt to disagree...)
Presidential Candidate Herman Cain, interestingly enough, has this STAR associated with his MARS (the planet of sexual expression AND aggression).
It is also found in the charts of Jonathan Edwards (who was noted for having an "alleged" extramarital affair while his wife was dying of cancer. Many criticized him for such 'maltreatment' of his wife and disgracing her virtues as a woman) Although allegations were never proven, the damage was done...
Both Martin Luther King Jr. (who was "allegedly" WELL KNOWN, especially in the African American Community, for being a notorious "womanizer"), and world boxing champion, at the time, Mike Tyson, had the STAR associated with their MOON (emotional "complexity" with/towards/ or due to, women; being the obvious manifestation).
What does this have to do with the 99%? Plenty. The women must be careful of who they trust. Sexual abuse, sexual assault-to downright rape can occur on these "sit ins and sleep ins", depending on how young these women are. They are the most vulnerable. This is something to "keep watch on"
ALPHECCA is another STAR associated with speed, impatience, lack of virtue and prudence, but also promoting a lifestyle that of a vagabond, lost in idealism and charm.
ALPHECCA LIES IN THE GROUPINGS OF STARS CALLED "CORONA BOREALIS" (the large "light" at the base of the CROWN). BELOW IS THE ACTUAL STAR AS IT APPEARS IN THE CASSINI TELESCOPE
This definition applies to the 99% quite perfectly. Although many are participating in this "occupation" to bring awareness of what's going on, others are just using this movement to "drift along" and engage in these "sit ins" for other reasons other than sociopolitical ones.
Vacationers have been known (from here and abroad) to make a "recreation" (if you will) of partaking in these "sit ins" and rallies.
Celebrities, movie stars, and politicians have claimed their share of "moments of fame". Future events will probably develop quickly and dramatically-either within the 99% movement themselves or against government (PLUTO in CAPRICORN).
The STAR of DENEBOLA, lying between the tail of the Lion in the CONSTELLATION of LEO, rises as PLUTO also rises.
THE STAR OF DENEBOLA (very similar to our sun, eh?)
Many astrologers do not consider this alignment as a PARAN RELATIONSHIP.
Also, the STAR of SPICA culminates at the same (projected) declinations as the STAR of DENEBOLA. This conjunction has relevance, but we are not clear in precisely what way. Parallel declinations is not uncommon among planets, but rare when dealing with FIXED STARS. I don't know of any astrologer that uses them, but I always consider them (as a final, confirmatory signature. Remember, the more you can correlate, the more powerful the forecast becomes)
The STAR of DENEBOLA is associated with compulsions, fixations, onanistic "tastes" and obsessions.
obsessions can be erotically beautiful, and tasteful
or physically abusive and ugly...
compulsions such as washing your hands 59 times a day is an example..
The passion, the "burning obsession" to want to balance the score" is, in no doubt, the fuel or "engine" which drives the 99% Wall Street take over.
Passion is contagious...
Nothing makes a world come together for a cause than civil injustices and inhumanity. This is why occupations all over the world started to occur.
Governments of other countries are running the same "game" to their citizenry. It is definitely a global phenomenon and the STAR of DENEBOLA embodies this principle
The third groupings of STARS fall in the sign of SCORPIO, in the SIXTH HOUSE (which belongs to VIRGO).
It is interesting to note that the events of the 1960's (which lead to the killing of a U.S. President) also saw PLUTO in an earth sign, VIRGO. Now, 2011 we see riots, sit ins, and all the elements that were present during the civil rights movement also occur (or re-occur) again 40 years later. This defines a CYCLE OF 40 YEARS!
If we go back 40 YEARS from the 1960's we hit THE ROARING 20'S!
PLUTO WAS ALSO IN CANCER, THE OPPOSITE SIGN OF CAPRICORN (where Pluto is now). AND IF WE "KNOW" OUR HISTORY, THE STOCK MARKET CRASHED IN 1929 (when Pluto's aspect by degree, became exact), MAKING THE UNITED STATES A MOST DESTITUTE COUNTRY AT THAT TIME; WITH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE GOING HUNGRY AND TENS OF HUNDREDS COMMITTING SUICIDE (as they jumped off buildings)
NOW PLUTO IS OPPOSITE CANCER, SHOULD WE EXPECT THE SAME RESULTS?
LIKE GLOBAL WARMING HAPPENING AT ALARMING RATES, SO, TOO IS THE CYCLE OF HUMAN EVENTS, ALSO ESCALATING (at alarming rates).
Our PSYCHOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR is directly connected to how NATURE TREATS US IN RETURN (we are NOT separate from her pulse, but part of it).

And now, PLUTO, again, is in an earth sign. The sign of GOVERNMENT: CAPRICORN. And we had an ATTEMPT to President BARACK OBAMA'S life when a bullet flew through his living room window
Coincidence?
The only difference here is the CAST OF CHARACTERS, but the PLAY is the same. The 60's was the "dress rehearsal" and the "performance" is NOW (it's just my personal take on it).

And find a solution to the problem (as quiet as it's kept)
Both EARTH signs, VIRGO and CAPRICORN, will always be concerned with the CONDITIONS OF SOCIETY, to either IMPROVE THEM or DESTROY THEM.
In mundane astrology this is the general consensus. And is in CONGRUENCE with sociologists, social workers, historians, psychologists and anthropologists-all over the world.
As social scientists (that includes astrologers) ONE PREVAILING ASSET we have in common is that we study cycles; or at least we are AWARE OF THEM. And most of us have quite a sophisticated, academic or even CLINICAL understanding of them.
THERE ARE DOZENS OF "LIFE CYCLES" (which can be "measured").
But a cycle may have many "starting points", each relevant to the other or completely unrelated to each other (as is usually the case).
Unfortunately, these "patterns", either logarithmically or exponentially, are in themselves, quite relative. The truth of the matter is, we aren't closer to reaching a universal consensus in the scientific community about the predictive nature of cycles as we are in predicting the weather.
We may come close, but never close enough-let alone be exact. And when that happens, its an exception rather than the rule (it's nature's way of 'throwing us a bone, if you will, and we get SOMETHING RIGHT)
Be that as it may, both VIRGO and CAPRICORN echo a common "theme"
We may employ different tools, but the end result is always more or less the same.
That theme is often referenced as RIGHTFUL ACTION, either on behalf of the people (VIRGO) or their government (CAPRICORN). These roles are interchangeable and both signs are concerned with tangible results (precipitated by rightful action-that's the key to understanding these two earth signs).
Both VIRGO and CAPRICORN represent "Nature" and therefore, NATURAL DISASTERS.
Virgo represents the WEATHER PATTERNS and the general ATMOSPHERE of our planet ( mutable, meaning "changeable" earth) while Capricorn represents the CONCRETE, THE GROUND ITSELF or STRUCTURAL FOUNDATION for life to take hold (cardinal, life sustaining and maintaining)
And Taurus represents the CONTENTS OF THE EARTH-both within and without (fixed earth, continuity).

It's no coincidence that we are concerned with global warming with each passing day. This , too, was an "issue" in the 60's with our water pollution and the elimination of pesticides on our crops.
It was around this period that scientists discovered that our fertilizers and treatment agents for pollutants were harming us. And sweetners, preservatives, processed and enriched foods were killing us just as effectively.
This was PLUTO in VIRGO: the sign of HEALTH, PUBLIC AND CIVIC SERVICE.
Today, we are dealing with the RESULTS and consequences based on decisions that were executed as gospel, from this cycle period.
When Pluto leaves Capricorn in 2023 around March, we will be LOOKING BACK at the RESULTS of that cycle (which we are still in).
The STAR of ZOSMA is a gentle, peaceful STAR. It deals with sacrifice, personal sacrifice, selflessness will be the "vehicle" to obtain altruistic ends.
THE ACTUAL STAR ON THE "BACKBONE" OF THE CONSTELLATION
It was prominent in the chart of John Lennon (in his musical lyrics: they always echoed a "sense" of "holy universality" which appealed to many, however slight, but the influence was there).
John Lennon had BACKBONE, he walked with NO BODYGUARDS, and his killer shot him at close range. He was very TRUSTING, and a ROMANTIC IDEALIST (very in keeping with the mythology of the star)
It was also in the chart of the charismatic leader of California's cult organization of Heaven's Gate. Mr. James Applewhite (in which all members suicided).
HIS "TWISTED IDEALISM" NOT ONLY BROUGHT ABOUT HIS DEMISE,BUT THOSE OF OTHERS. LIKE JOHN LENNON, AND HIS MUSIC, HE CAPTIVATED THE WORLD WITH HIS "OTHER WORLDLY BELIEFS (Zosma).
They were going to "rapture" in spaceships to be taken to another planet so they wouldn't have to face the apocalypse here on earth.
Pretty heavy stuff, but then again, many consider what I'm doing to be pretty wild stuff, too. Who knows?
The STAR of DIADEM, which in Hebrew is associated with "The Crown" is also found in the charts of canonized saints and practicing priests. This is also true with the STAR of ZOSMA.
Both STARS however, have CURTAILED PASSAGE and a phase of ARISING AND LYING HIDDEN, thus DISTORTING and REVERSING the positive effects of the STARS.
So far, the 99% groups have been peaceful, organized, AND gathering MOMENTUM as their numbers continue to grow (here AND abroad).
REBELLION is the opposite of the VIRTUE and PRUDENCE that these stars represent.
Still, the movement must be "careful" and "watchful" of betrayal from WITHIN.
The STAR of PHACT symbolizes dangerous paths, treading the unknown, going through "UNCHARTERED WATERS" where angels fear to tread.
THE CONSTELLATION OF COLUMBAE. THE STAR OF PHACT SITS RIGHT AT THE "EYE OF THE NEEDLE"...
Clearly the FIXED STARS reflect the reactionary behavior
of the population it is influencing (in this case, the 99% group and the 1% group)
But what the STARS don't reflect is the "underlying current" or "psychological motivation" BEHIND the movement (as it is argued by skeptics).
However, astrologers will always look to THE TWELFTH HOUSE as a definition, and the sign TAURUS, respectively, for such an answer.
And for that, we MUST take a CLOSER LOOK to the sign TAURUS; which RULES THE TWELFTH HOUSE CUSP of the UNITED STATES, and how it is affecting these two opposing groups (the 99% and the 1%)
TAURUS is a fixed, stable, reliable, predictable, "slow moving", sensuous, physical, and "bountiful" (the finer things in life) earth sign. Like Capricorn, Taurus is "sure footed"and does not like to "indulge" in high risk activity of ANY KIND (especially financial).
Taurus is a sign that is "slow" to react, but dangerously "deadly" when provoked (remember,the opposite polarity is Scorpio!)
